What your holiday party page does

Dietary needs with every reply
Each guest’s allergies and dietary needs come with their reply, ready to pass on to the caterer or the restaurant.
Partners in or out
Let guests add a partner, or keep it to the team. The guest list counts everyone who’s coming.
Only the people you invite
Switch to invited guests only and each person replies through their own link, so the office party stays the office party.
Wording for any team
Pick Holiday party and the page talks about the season rather than one holiday, so everyone feels invited.
Updates and reminders
Email an update to everyone on the list when the venue or the time changes. With the site pass, guests who haven’t replied get a reminder before the reply-by date.
A spreadsheet for the venue
Download the guest list with every answer, for the venue’s numbers and the table plan.

How it works

  1. Set the date and the venue

The name of the party, the date, the time and the venue, with the address for the map.

  2. Write the plan

Dinner, the toast, the photo booth, how to get home: what people need to know, in a few lines.

  3. Invite the team

Import the list from a spreadsheet and email everyone their link, or post one link in the team channel.

Office and holiday party invitations: what to include

A work party invitation answers the questions people are shy to ask: is it paid for, can I bring my partner, and how late does it go.

Send it four to six weeks ahead

December fills up fast. Send a reminder a week before the reply-by date, and the final details two days before the party.

Say who is invited

Say clearly whether partners, children or contractors are welcome. “Partners welcome” or “Team only” on the page settles it.

Food, drink and dietary needs

Say whether dinner is served or it’s drinks and nibbles, ask about dietary needs in the reply, and mention the alcohol-free options.

Getting home

Add parking, public transport and the last train, or say if the company covers rides home.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Making and publishing your holiday party invitation, the reply form and the guest list are free, with no limit on guests. An optional site pass adds extras such as your own colours, a photo wall for guests and automatic reply reminders, for one payment per site.

How far in advance should I send holiday party invitations?

Four to six weeks for a work party or a Saturday in December; three weeks is enough for a smaller party at home. Set the reply-by date about a week before, or when the venue needs final numbers.

Should I say holiday party or Christmas party?

“Holiday party” is the usual choice at work and with mixed groups, since not everyone celebrates Christmas. Among friends who do, “Christmas party” is fine. Pick either when you make the page and the wording follows.

Can I invite only certain people?

Yes. Import your list, switch to invited guests only, and email or message each person their own link. Nobody else can reply, and you can add a password to the page.

Can I collect dietary needs?

Yes. The reply form asks every guest about food allergies, and you can add your own questions, such as a meal choice or whether they need parking.

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. They open the link in any browser, on any phone, and reply in under a minute.

Can a colleague edit it too?

Yes. Add co-hosts by their email address and they manage the site with you, from their own account. Two people can edit at the same time without undoing each other’s changes.

Ready when you are

A few questions, a minute or two, and your invitation is ready to share.
