- A final four
- Four teams make two semi-finals and a final: three games and you have a champion. Add a third place game if you hand out medals, and it’s four.
- Seeding
- Seed 1 plays seed 4 and seed 2 plays seed 3, so the two best teams can only meet in the final. Pick Random for a draw out of a hat.
- Good for
- The playoff after a league season, the last four of a fantasy league, a family games night, or a short office tournament over lunch.

Questions
How many games are in a 4 team bracket?
Three in single elimination: two semi-finals and the final, or four with a third place game. Double elimination takes 6 games, or 7 if the grand final is reset.
How do you seed a 4 team bracket?
Rank the teams 1 to 4, best first. Seed 1 plays seed 4 and seed 2 plays seed 3 in the semi-finals, and the winners meet in the final. Pick Random in the tool for a random draw instead.
Is double elimination worth it with 4 teams?
It takes the games from 3 to 6 or 7, and every team plays at least twice. For a short event that gives everyone more games. A round robin is the other choice: 6 games, and every team plays all three others.
How do I print a blank 4 team bracket?
