Bracket maker
Make a tournament bracket for any game: single or double elimination, seeded or a random draw, with byes for the top seeds. Tap each winner to move them on, then print it or share it. Free, with no sign-up.
7 matches over 3 rounds.
Leave it empty for Player 1, Player 2 and so on. Up to 64. Names stay on this device.
Two kinds of bracket
- Single elimination
- A knockout: win and you go through, lose and you’re out. The quickest way to a champion, good when time or courts are short. Add a third place match between the semi-final losers if you give out medals.
- Double elimination
- Nobody goes home after one bad game: a first loss drops you into the losers bracket, and a second one puts you out. Twice the matches, and a fairer result. Common for cornhole, table tennis, esports and club pickleball.

Questions
How does seeding work in a bracket?
Seed 1 plays the lowest seed, seed 2 the second lowest, and so on, placed so the top two seeds can only meet in the final and the top four not before the semi-finals. List your names strongest first to seed them, or pick Random for a random draw.
What happens when the number of players isn’t a power of two?
The bracket grows to the next size up (8, 16, 32 or 64) and the empty spots become byes. The byes go to the top seeds, so with 6 players seeds 1 and 2 go straight through to the semi-finals and the other four play a first round.
How does a double elimination bracket work?
Everyone starts in the winners bracket. Lose once and you drop into the losers bracket; lose again and you’re out. The winner of the losers bracket meets the winner of the winners bracket in the grand final. If the losers side wins it, that’s the first loss for the other side, so a second grand final (the reset) decides it. You can turn the reset off.
How many matches does a tournament take?
Single elimination takes one match fewer than the number of entries: 16 teams play 15 matches. Double elimination takes about twice that: 16 teams play 30 matches, or 31 with a grand final reset.
Can I use it for pickleball, tennis, cornhole, chess or esports?
Yes, for any game with a winner: players, pairs or teams. Tap the winner of each match and the bracket moves them on; tap again to undo. Print it for the wall, or copy it as text into your group chat.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It’s free and needs no account. The bracket is made in your browser and the names you type are not sent anywhere; this browser keeps your bracket so a reload doesn’t lose it.
