Cornhole tournament bracket
Make the bracket for your cornhole tournament: double or single elimination for any number of teams, seeded or a blind draw, with byes for the top seeds. Tap each winner to move them on, then print it for the boards. Free, with no sign-up.
14 or 15 matches over 3 winners rounds, 4 losers rounds and the grand final.
Leave it empty for Team 1, Team 2 and so on. Up to 64. Names stay on this device.
Running the tournament
- Teams and the draw
- Most events are doubles: teams of two, partners at opposite boards. Take sign-ups as teams, or as players for a blind draw and pair them on the day.
- Boards and time
- Each set of boards plays one game at a time. Count the games in your bracket, divide by the boards, and allow time for each round of play; games to 21 can run long, so some events cap them by rounds or time.
- On the day
- Print the bracket for the wall, call each game to a board, and tap the winner as scores come in. This browser keeps the bracket if you reload.

Questions
What bracket do most cornhole tournaments use?
Double elimination, so every team plays at least two games: a first loss drops a team into the losers bracket, and a second one puts it out. For a short event or a big field, a single elimination knockout gets to a champion in half the games.
How do you score cornhole?
A bag in the hole is 3 points and a bag on the board is 1. Each round both sides throw four bags, and only the difference counts (cancellation scoring): 7 points against 4 scores 3 for the higher side. The first team to 21 or more at the end of a round wins.
How many games are in a cornhole tournament?
Single elimination is one game fewer than the number of teams: 16 teams play 15 games. Double elimination is about twice that: 16 teams play 30 games, or 31 if the grand final is reset. Divide the games by the boards you have to see how many rounds of play it takes.
What is a blind draw?
Players sign up on their own and partners are drawn at random on the day, so everyone can play without bringing a partner. Draw the pairs first, list the teams, then pick Random for the seeding.
How does seeding and byes work?
List the teams strongest first to seed them, or pick Random for a draw. When the number of teams isn’t 8, 16, 32 or 64, the top seeds get byes into the second round.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It’s free and needs no account. The bracket is made in your browser and the team names you type are not sent anywhere; this browser keeps your bracket so a reload in the middle of the event doesn’t lose it.
